Vaccinations

(Created: March 3, 2010)

Family Medical Practice offers a full range of vaccines that are recommended for traveling and living in Vietnam.

If you need to review your vaccination schedule, on your arrival to Vietnam you can make an appointment and any of our doctors will be happy to help you with this.

For a child under 18 years old,we recommend you to make an appointment with our pediatrician.

Please bring your vaccination book or record with you if you already have one.Prior to leaving for Vietnam, it is a good idea to visit your doctor, preferably someone who specializes in travel medicine. The ideal time for this is 4-6 weeks prior to your date of departure. However, even 2 weeks before departure, it is still useful to see a travel medicine doctor. First of all, everyone is recommended to have the routine immunizations prior to visiting Vietnam, although different countries may have slightly different recommendations. Individuals of different age and medical conditions may need to have specific vaccinations, please check with your own physician what the recommendation is for your country of visit or residence.

Family Medical Practice follows the recommendations by CDC.
