TEST INSTRCUTIONS

If you are coughing or have history of lung infection, please inform our Medical staffs.

Abdominal Ultrasound

Within half an hour before having the ultrasound, drink at least 3 glasses of water (about 0.75 – 1 liter). When you feel like urinating, try to refrain from doing so and proceed with the ultrasound.

Spirometry test

• Breathe in as deeply as you can.
• Seal your lips around the mouth piece.
• Blow out as hard and fast as you can, for as long as you can and keep going for as long as possible.
• Please let us know if you feel any distress during this procedure.

This test may be repeated 2- 3 times

Hearing Test

You will hear different tones ranging from low to high frequency

Please

• Press the button when you hear the sound and hold the button until the pulse stops.
• Do not press the button when you don’t hear anything. 

Chest X-ray

If you are pregnant or suspect that you may be pregnant, please notify our personnel.
