Dr. Andres Sosa

Dr. Andrés Sosa is a distinguished Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, Meniscal Preservation, and Repair. Renowned for his advanced expertise in meniscus repair techniques, Dr. Sosa is dedicated to delivering personalized care tailored to the unique needs of expatriates, diplomats, athletes, and tourists in Hanoi.   Dr. Sosa earned his medical degree from the prestigious University of Los Andes in Venezuela in 2007 and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Oriente in 2012.

He advanced his training with a Master’s Degree from the University of Bologna in Italy, where he honed his skills at the world-renowned Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute.   He further specialized in Sports Medicine through a program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Pennsylvania, USA, and achieved a second Master’s Degree at the University of Andalucía in Spain.

In 2016, Dr. Sosa relocated to Chile, where he practiced at Los Andes Hospital and served as a lecturer at the University of Valparaíso. His commitment to excellence led him to complete a third Master’s Degree at Mayor University in Chile.   Since 2018, Dr. Sosa has dedicated his career to Meniscal Preservation and Repair, establishing himself as a leading authority in the field.
