Dr. Do Thuy Can is a highly experienced Cardiologist specializing in echocardiography and the treatment of various cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, and valvular heart diseases.   She graduated from Hanoi Medical University and completed her fellowship in cardiology there, before furthering her expertise through training in Australia, China, and the United States.

With over 15 years of experience at the Vietnam National Heart Institute - Bach Mai Hospital, Dr. Can has developed strong skills in clinical cardiology, cardiac intensive care, and preventive cardiology.   She is also a leading expert in adult and pediatric echocardiography and has contributed significantly to research in heart failure and cardiovascular risk factors.

Dr. Can has been involved in numerous international research studies and clinical trials, including the REPORT-HF and DYSIS II studies, and is committed to advancing cardiovascular care in Vietnam.   She has a passion for educating the next generation of cardiologists, providing training and hands-on guidance to students and junior fellows at Hanoi Medical University.

Fluent in Vietnamese and English, Dr. Can is dedicated to improving heart health through both direct patient care and community-based programs focused on prevention.
