Biography
Dr. Hector Abraham Rojina Lopez is an Emergency Physician from Mexico with extensive experience in acute and critical care medicine. He completed his specialty training in Emergency Medicine at Hospital General de Balbuena in Mexico City, one of the country’s leading high-volume trauma centers, where he gained broad experience managing critically ill patients, severe trauma, and complex metabolic emergencies.
He further expanded his clinical expertise through additional training in Intensive Care, strengthening his ability to manage life-threatening conditions across a wide spectrum of acute care scenarios.
Dr. Rojina currently practices at Family Medical Practice in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where he provides comprehensive care for urgent and emergency conditions in an international setting. His clinical approach emphasizes rapid assessment, evidence-based decision-making, and high-quality patient-centered care.
He has a strong interest in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), emergency procedures, and the early management of critically ill patients. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in medical education and academic development.
Dr. Rojina serves as a member of the Residents Committee of the Mexican Society of Emergency Medicine, contributing to national initiatives aimed at improving residency training programs across Mexico. He is also the founder of Código Rojo Academy, an educational platform focused on high-yield emergency medicine training and clinical decision-making.
He has participated in academic activities as an Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine training programs in Mexico and continues to teach through independent courses and workshops, including collaborations with institutions such as Vemica.
Dr. Rojina is also involved in medical research and scientific writing. He is co-author of two medical articles and is currently the lead author of an upcoming review on hyponatremia, as well as actively working on a new publication focused on food poisoning and traveler’s diarrhea in emergency settings.
He is fluent in Spanish (native) and English, and has basic proficiency in German, allowing him to communicate effectively with a diverse international patient population.
