Biography
A cornerstone of Family Medical Practice in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Jane Shadwell-Li has been delivering exceptional internal medicine care to the community for decades. Trained in the United States, she earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital, affiliated with NYU School of Medicine and Sloan Kettering.
Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine; a rare distinction in the region, Dr. Shadwell-Li brings broad expertise across adult internal medicine, from preventive care and diagnosis to the long-term management of chronic conditions.
In addition to comprehensive adult care, she is experienced in routine women’s health, including Pap smear screening and general gynecological care. Having practiced for many years in Southeast Asia, Dr. Shadwell-Li is also highly familiar with tropical diseases such as dengue fever and parasitic infections.
She currently serves as the physician in charge of the Health Unit at the U.S. Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, reflecting the high level of trust placed in her clinical expertise.
