Biography
Dr. Ruben Martinez is a multilingual and versatile physician with over 25 years of experience in medicine. He completed most of his medical training in Spain, with further experience in Montreal, Chicago, Rome, and Vietnam.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in the management of a wide range of medical conditions, including hypertension, geriatrics, pain management, and dermatology.
Dr. Ruben has also explored both Western and Asian medical practices, completing a full Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. This allows him to approach patient care from a complementary and holistic perspective.
In addition to general medicine, his current main focus is dermatology. He manages a variety of skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, nail disorders, and skin cancer, including diagnosis, prevention, and minor surgical procedures at our Thao Dien clinic in Ho Chi Minh City.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Ruben is also a musician, writer, and painter, with recent work exploring fitoprinting as a form of artistic expression.
