Nurturing Connections: Discover the SIMBA Community at FMP
We are thrilled to announce the official return of the Saigon International Mother & Baby | Baby and Me Monthly Meetup
Since its inception in 2014, the Saigon International Mother & Baby Association (SIMBA) has served as a cornerstone for families navigating the beautiful, yet often complex, journey of early parenthood. While the global events of 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a long hiatus for our physical gatherings, our commitment to supporting families never wavered. Now, we are bringing SIMBA back to the heart of the community, stronger and more dedicated than ever to providing a nurturing environment for parents and children aged three and under.
In the early years of a child’s life, having a reliable support system is essential. SIMBA provides a relaxed, friendly environment where parents can step away from the daily routine to connect with others who truly understand the experiences of raising a young family in Saigon.
What Makes SIMBA Special?
At its core, SIMBA focuses on three main pillars: Community, Support, and Learning. Whether you are a first-time parent or looking to expand your local network, the group offers a nurturing space for both you and your little ones.
- Expert-Led Guidance: One of SIMBA’s most valuable features is the access it provides to trusted professional advice. Our meetups often feature talks from specialists on critical topics including:
- Essential First-Aid for infants and toddlers.
- Vaccination schedules and newborn health.
- Nutrition, sleep hygiene, and developmental milestones.
- Play-Based Engagement: While parents/caregivers share experiences and learn, children enjoy play-based activities that encourage social interaction and early development in a safe setting.
- A Welcoming Social Circle: Parenting can sometimes feel isolating. SIMBA gatherings are the perfect opportunity to build lasting friendships and share practical tips with a diverse group of international and local families.
The New Chapter
As we relaunch, we warmly welcome new parents, first-time caregivers, and those who have recently moved to the city with their little ones. Whether you are seeking expert medical advice, a safe space for your child to play, or a supportive community to share the highs and lows of parenthood, SIMBA is back for you.
